The project includes the design of two residence halls with 352 beds and approximately 190,500 square feet. The buildings are sited in existing parking lots or in wooded space near Eden’s Quad. Surface 678’s role includes site selection and connectivity to the main quad and academic facilities to the north of the quad. Additionally, Surface aims to assist in preserving the creek that currently runs from Duke Gardens down to the Hollows.
