RiverLights is a 1,400-acre development with over 2,500 home sites on the Cape Fear River south of the Port of Wilmington. The site includes a 30-acre lake with a 3 1/2 mile walking trail and lakeside amenity center. A village green hosts a variety of events, and the age-qualified neighborhood will feature a 112-slip marina, live-work opportunities, shops, restaurants, a boardwalk, and a dog beach. The first phase opened in 2016.
