North Carolina Archives Building
Located in the Capital District of downtown Raleigh, the North Carolina Archives Building preserves important historical materials. Poor drainage and inadequate waterproofing of the previous entry plaza allowed leaks into occupied space below the site. Surface 678 corrected these problems, and converted the 15,000 square foot plaza to a green roof and outdoor amenity space. Our designers created a dynamic new entry court with patterned planting beds and walkways. Beautiful glass walkways enable employees and visitors to circulate the building.
