Fayetteville State University
Anticipating new academic programs and a 20 percent increase in enrollment from its current 6,000 students, Fayetteville State University has embraced a comprehensive Campus Master Plan to revitalize its 92-acre campus. The Master Plan provides a framework for campus growth and improvement over the next two decades that is aligned with the University’s Strategic Plan, finance, operations and sustainability goals. LHPA recommendations for open space enhancements, academic space and student life needs, future buildings, campus connections and stormwater management initiatives provide a spatial and aesthetic framework within which the campus may grow. The Master Plan articulates the “buildout” condition of the campus and provides a phased implementation strategy that will help make the Plan’s vision a reality.
