Lappas + Havener Names Eric Davis A Senior Partner

Lappas + Havener has named Eric Davis a senior partner.

Davis succeeds Lappas + Havener co-founder Bob Lappas, who announced his retirement after 32 years at the firm, in December 2012. Davis’ joins co-founder Walt Havener as a senior partner. Davis and Havener will oversee the firm’s growth and business strategy.

Davis initially joined Lappas + Havener in 2005 and was named a principal four years later, in 2009.

Davis brings 18 years of experience in landscape design, master planning, recreational design and community planning. Davis’ expertise is in master planning, site design, and construction processes involving complex multi-disciplinary team. Davis is certified by the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and holds the U.S Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED AP) credential.

Before joining Surface 678, Davis previously worked as an associate for Oehme, van Sweden & Associates and EDAW. He earned his masters degree in landscape architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
